Propertysteps Terms & Conditions

Unless expressly stated to the contrary below, the following terms shall have the following definitions:

This Site is an on-line information and advertising service provided by Propertysteps, a business registered in Ireland, and governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland and relevant European Union legislation ratified by the Irish government. This company trades under the domain names Propertysteps.ie and Propertysteps.eu.

By using any part of the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions. You also agree to periodically inspect these terms & conditions for amendments which Propertysteps may make from time to time. Continued use of the Site is deemed to signify that the User fully accepts any modified prices, terms & conditions.

1. Copyright and Licenses
The owner of the copyright for the Site is Propertysteps. The User is forbidden from reproducing or modifying any part of the Site’s web design (intellectual property) unless the Site owner’s permission is sought and received in writing. The User is permitted to print and download portions of material from the Site solely for non-commercial use provided that the User agrees not to change or delete any copyright, trademarks or proprietary notices from these extracts. The Agent agrees to grant to the Site owner a worldwide non-exclusive, royalty-free, unlimited license to reproduce, transmit, and publicly display any information which the Agent submits to any public areas of the Site or by e-mail to Propertsteps. The Agent also grants the Site owner the right to use the Agent’s name in connection with the submittals for all advertising and marketing purposes.

2. Use of the Site.
The User accepts full responsibility for use of the Site with regard to the risk of internet virus infections and their consequences, and the unexpected viewing of information or images uploaded to the site by malicious third parties. The Site owner reserves the right to amend errors in submitted information and to delete offensive material. The Site owner does not necessarily endorse any information displayed on the Site by Agents or third parties. It is the sole obligation of the User to check all information for accuracy prior to entering into any commercial transaction with a third party, The Site owner does not warrant that access to the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Propertysteps accepts no liability for direct, indirect or consequential losses incurred as a result of accessing the Site. Please note that any web site which has a link to the Site is bound by a differing set of terms & conditions of usage. The Site owner accepts no responsibility for the content of linked web sites which are in the ownership of unrelated business partners or individuals.

3. Assignment and Termination
Propertysteps may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to Users or Agents. The Site owner reserves the right to terminate the services of the Site without prior notice to Users and Agents and without any liability whatsoever with regard to refunds and alleged damages.

4. Indemnification
The User shall indemnify and hold the Site owner and its directors and employees, harmless from and against any and all claims, costs, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of, or in connection with the Users use of the Site (including the content) or breach of this Agreement.

Refunds Policy
If an Agent wishes to withdraw an advertisement (due to a property sale, change in details or services, etc.) then no portion of any advertising fee will be refunded to Agents who, by registering or making a payment to Propertysteps, have contracted to upload or allow publication of their advertising material for an agreed period of time. Propertysteps will delete adverts from the site free of charge if notified in writing.
